Task Manager in Chrome
Posted on July 9th, 2009 No commentsIn the recent news Google is planning to release a full-fledged operating system. Hopefully it will have less compatibility and crash issues. I had been in and out of Chrome browser due to its incompatibility with Yahoo mails (messenger feature) and Hotmail. Looks like they are solved now. The best thing I like about the colorful browser is the simplicity, tabs and its own unique “Task manager”.
I use the Windows Task Manager a lot to close unresponsive and memory hogging application. The Chrome task manger is also helpful in closing those plugins like Flash, Java, or unresponsive tabs.
To start task manager in Chrome:
press Shift+Esc keys
Now you can select the plugin or tab and click End process to close it.
